Hello all - just bought this boat... love it - but want to put in a rockin' sound system... wondering if I should add 2 more speakers, but where can I put them?.. or if they are necessary... the standard speaker location is by the feet of the driver and co-pilot...

As well, want to add amp and sub-woofer... wondering if anybody has put a sub-woofer under the back seat/bench?... did you cut a spot for it or simply place a tube-like sub-woofer in the strage area and did it still sound great despite been covered by the cushions?

If anybody has put in an amp, where did you put it?

any help would be appreciated... I'm hoping to get away with just replacing the 2 speakers that came with the boat with really good ones and adding an amp and sub-woofer...

thanks all...

Jimmy

any help would be appreciated...

Hello, I just finished installing a total of four 6 1/2 west marine pro series speakers & a fusion headunit on my seadoo utopia & it sounds incredible!!! U won't need more bass than that!! I cut larger holes in the driver & passenger speaker openings & cut new openings near the bow seat handles like u find in the newer Utopias. I'm so happy with the end results!! No amp or bass enclosures needed once u setup the system like this. Hope this info helps.
