Steering Cable nozzle end issue

My cable end (wiper terminal)at the nozzle had come out of it's joint.
Can I just put a clamp over this location on the seal t keep the joint from
expanding and coming out. The cable it's self is not seized. Is ther much preasure on the cable it's self?
Can the cable come apart like the older merk throttle cables, un screw the ends???

my seal is lose also. I just keep some grease on it to help keep the water out. Not much I can really do

It's not the boot but the shaft comes out of the slot because it's creaked.

Are you saying that part #15 is free and coming out? That's not good!

I am thinking of clamping it with a ss holes clamp. Just wounded if there is a better way ?
