My ski wasn't turning left when I went out and on my way back in to check it out I heard a snap and lost all steering finally got back to the beach and the part where the cable attaches to the steering wheel broke off... My question is.. It looks as if I can unscrew the linkage and replace just that not the whole cable as the cable seems to be fine is that true???and does anyone know that part number??? My second question is how do I get to where that connects??? I took the top of the handle bars off and couldn't see anything so I took apart where the cable went in just so I could see what was actually broke but can't see how to replace it or where it was attached (the other end of the link that broke) any help would be great thanks

Follow up for anyone who has this problem I searched the parts catalogue and found the part that screws on I can't remember the part number off the top of my head but it was fairly simple to find Google searches it it popped up 13 bucks shipped to me I bought 2 them I bought a seadoo manual for my ski and found that it is located behind the cluster first take off the back of the cluster has 2 tabs on the side and 2at the top then u can take off the cluster it has two tabs under the bars on the steering column push those in the look at the sides it has tabs on each side pull those out and off it comes really easy to do if u know what to look for 30min job at worse good luck
