Stator Plate Assy

It is several coils of wire mounted on a plate that combine with magnets on the
flywheel to produce A/C (alternating current) and an electrical timing pulse signal.

If the stator is bad the engine won't produce any electrical power to the external coils to power the spark plugs, and it won't recharge the battery. The stator assy. also controls the timing of the spark plugs to fire at the correct time to produce combustion of the compressed fuel to run the engine.

If you would really like detailed information you might consider joining as a "premium Member" so you can down load any manual from our library of manuals to further under stand the components of the working seadoo engine and electrical components.
