Starting problems please help!

Hi, recently i bought a 2001 Sea-doo GS. When i brought it home I bought a new battery for it and it started well. It didn't went on because it didn't had gas. That very same day I put fuel on it and when i touched the start/stop button, nothing happened. It only makes a click sound but doesn't cranks. Did my starter broke? Or do I have to change the starter solenoid? Please help me!

make a jumper over the starter selonid and see if the engine turns over also check the battery becuase it may have drained down. another thing is pull the plugs and spin the motor the starter might have gotten caught on the flywheel, if it still doesnt work you may want to pull the starter and hook it up to a smill battery charger and see if it spins on 12 volt 2amp if not replace.
