Starting issue

I am having a starting issue with my 2002 rxdi model when I try to start it it just clicks I have already replaced the battery and replaced the starter relay and I can hear it click at the relay does anyone have an idea on what it is. could it be the starter

FIrst check your battery voltage at rest and when you are trying to crank it.

Let's eliminate the battery before going further as there have been batteries that are bad out of the box.

We can also jump the starter solenoid with a screwdriver and if it cranks the battery, cables and starter are good.
