After much testing of the battery, both load testing and specific gravity cell testing and I convinced myself this 6-7 month old battery is perfectly fine. Therefore, mthe likely culprit of the periodic click must be the relay. For $40 and a modest amt of effort, I was able to replace the relay and have tested the starter enough to know it is now fixed.

Appreciate all the helpful feedback from the forum.

You going to meet in November?

I'm also experiencing a similar problem. I just got my battery checked and it's perfectly fine. I also replaced the starter solenoid and nothing has changed. I'm just getting one click when I try to start it. Any suggestions of what else I should check?

No, my battery wasn't dead it was relatively new but lots of people don't like the acid batteries vs ago, which I totally understand but unless it was bad, i wasn't going to buy a new battery. I tested my battery pretty extensively and was convinced it was not the problem so the next logical issue was the relay. I bought a new one and it fixed it. Besides cleaning all the connections and using dialectic grease, I didn't do anything else so maybe I got lucky.
