stalling at idle

Hi everyone I just bought a 1996 seadoo sportster from a marina by me the boat runs but when you bring it to idle for a couple of minutes it will load up I bought the boat like this has anyone ever had this problem any help would be good thank you.

Premix or factory injection still on it?.. Sounds like it's time for a carb rebuild and new plugs.

The guy I bought it from at the marina said it has a block off plate for the injection so I'm wondering if the oil and gas are premixed wrong causing it tto load up?

^X2 and change grey fuel lines to the black automotive type available at Discount/AutoZone/Pep boys

Maybe, but more likely that's a downside to runnin premix. It's gonna load up and smoke at idle speeds. I would return it back to injection.

Did the marina do the block off or previous owner?

Idk for sure but I'm planning on putting it back to injection

Yea. You shouldn't block off a seadoo anyway.

because seadoo oil pumps NEVER FAIL and if they do it is because of a lack of maintenance on the owners part. Switch it back and im sure youll see a difference

They have a very dependable injection system. But they blocked it off for a reason. You get to figure out why. Plan on replacing all the oil lines for starters.
It still requires oil for the crank and . I would ask the marina why it was blocked so you can put it back.

who ever blocked is still running it to the crank so thats a good thing i gotta ask the guy why its blocked im goin to pick it up saturday. are they a decent boat. cause its my first seadoo
