Years ago, I owned a 94 XP and recently picked up a very low hr 98 SPX. I remember most of the post water use procedures like flushing, spraying a light coat of WD on the engine and components, running the carbs dry, stuff like that. Is there anything I might be forgetting to do? I use it just about every weekend so it doesn't sit too long between uses. I also treat every drop of fuel I put in PWC with Stabil Marine.

The engine in the SPX looks a bit different than the one on my older XP. Are there any issues I need to know with the 787 engine.

This site has already help me trouble shoot my fuel gauge issue. Now I have to just do it. Thanks.

Sounds like you have things prety well covered.Don't forget the trailer.A good hose down and wd as well.I also take the seats off the ski, lift the front hatch and have a fan blowing into the engine bay area for an hour or two.Helps get rid of any condensation.I also disconnect the battery(only takes about 20 seconds)
