Sportser wont Rev passed 4k?????

hey my 2003 seadoo sportster 4-tec wont rev passed 4k rpm
it starts fine everything works but its like the engine is limiting it and it wont take off

is there a few things i can do to trouble shoot?

could it have to do with a fluid level or fuse to protect the engine???
help please

I don't know anything about the SeaDoo 4TEC boats. Did you also post in the SeaDoo boats forum?

Do the boats also come with a learner's lanyard that limits the engine rpm's? IDK.
