Spi hp?

Just picked up another doo........a 1996 SPI, supposedly rebuilt etc.......you know the story! Just wondering what the HP rating in on one of these, and what kind of top end I should see out of it? Also is this hull stable, I had a friend with a 07 XP and the thing was impossible to get on out in the water........I want this spi for my teenagers who are rookies at riding.......so want something stable.

I believe it was 60 for the SPI. It has the single carb 587 engine. right??

You should see 40~42 mph

Ya it looks like a 587, its just single carb...........
