We are new at this. We had the boat in the water for a week. We bought it preowned and saw there was a lot of water in the engine.
We would like to keep it in the water for a couple of weeks at a time but this water seemed to impact performance. Is there a way to drain that without taking it out of the water? Or is it a deeper problem that we need to address? (Not even sure I’m posting this in the right area. Sorry)

Your boat should have a bilge pump. My 2011 Speedster does in the back behind the engine.

I do notice that it let's the water get quite high before it pumps it out. You should test it out of the water.
