Speeding up my XP

I have a 1994 Seadoo XP I'd like to speed up. Is there anything I can do while replacing the engine to speed it up?

To be honest the best thing you can do is take the $ you were going to spend on a rebuild and put it towards a 96 XP or 97-99 spx which stock will have about 35 more horsepower in basically the same hull.

If it runs sell it and as Ankenyou said get one of the ones he listed. You will be much happier and money ahead.
