I degreased the entire hull today, as mentioned here a few days ago I followed as others recommended. Jacked the front of the trailer very high, sprayed degreaser purchased from Wal-Mart. I let the juice stay on about 20 minutes then broke out the power washer.

In short it turned out great..... Very clean and oil free. I got the leaf blower out and dried and let air out for a couple of hours then it started right up. Now for the meat of the post.

I noticed that fuel/oil was leaking from one of the spark plugs. Both plugs were about 3-4 turns from being tight. Maybe they vibrated loose. Is this normal? Now I see where the fuel was coming from in the hull. I tightened them up (engine was cool).

I have always had 4 stroke except weed eater, is it normal for the plugs to run loose?

thanks

No... the spark plugs won't come loose on their own.

Also... there is nothing wrong with cleaning the engine bay out... but don't use a pressure washer on it. You can hurt the electronics.

Have you started the engine since the cleaning? Since the plugs were loose, I would be worried about water in the engine. But starting it will purge it out.
