Spark plug gap

What's the correct gap for a spark plug on a seadoo xp limited 98 ?? Thanks.

It should be 0.022" to 0.024".

What would happen with the wrong gap? I just replaced my plugs and noticed they had a gap of .030 inches and spec is .020 -.024. I gapped the new plugs but wasnt sure what missed gapped plugs would do. Also noticed the plugs are more black than they should be.

you may have a light, miss-fire in the upper RPM's. AND... it will make the coil work harder.

So the best setting would be the lower end of the .022-.024?
