Hi,
We are new to jet skis and just purchased a pair of used skis and we are in need of a Learning Key for a 2013 GTX S 155 (27 hours) ? It came with the master/ yellow key fortunately, but we would like a Learning key for tuning it down for the kids... The other ski, a 2006 GTI (121 hours) came with both keys and the Learning Key is already in use while my son rides it... I just changed out the gas and plugs on both skis and they both now hit 50 pretty easily. Would like to keep the teenagers at or below 35 for a little while!

Does anyone have a programming source in the Phoenix area that would be less expensive than the local dealerships? Ridenow quoted me $60 for the key and $140 to program... I am checking on the key at seadoowarehouse as it is $40, but still need to have it programmed.

Thank you

$140 to program....that's high. I believe my local SD dealer charges less than $100.

Just booked with Nash Powersports in Phoenix for $160 total. I've read that 140-150 all in is typical so with covid pricing added in I figure 160 is ok. Between covid and summer every place here is booked and everything having to do with outdoors is overpriced. These guys said they could order the key and do it Friday or Saturday so I jumped on it. Everywhere else was one- two weeks out.

BTW, especially since you have 2 skis, it may be worth your time and money to buy Candoo Pro. You could program your own keys and lots of other maintenance things.

The key programming was set for today or tomorrow but after calling the shop and being put on hold for over 20 minutes and then calling back again, I found out that the key never arrived and would not until next Tuesday. I am traveling for work all next week so now the whole thing is put off... so I am going with Candoopro since I have to wait anyway. I've checked several sites and see a price of $499 and differing prices for peripherals. Any one have any info as to discounts or shipping times? The manufacturer looks like it is in NC so shipping to AZ might take a week or two? Looks like PWCMuscle is in Florida... They say free shipping but when I put in the order it charges $39? Also I saw a discount of 10% on a forum but when I input the code it was expired.
Just trying to see if there is any money to be saved off the $499 price and if shipping is quicker with one company or another? Hoping to get this done next Saturday latest...?

Thanks,

Thanks again Xspook! Used the Candoopro to program the new learning key and change ownership.

BTW- Ordering, shipping, receiving all went smoothly. FedEx was a day late, but still received it by the weekend as hoped for and was able to play with it Saturday night. FedEx actually told me it was not coming until Monday which was a bummer but it showed up Saturday instead! Nice surprise.
