solas impeller ?

i have a 94 spi 580 and need a new impeller...i found some on line....one in particular is a great deal however dont know much about them....the solas part # is sd-sc-h i have looked everywhere for the h series and no luck.... they sell a,b,c and i,j,k no h....anyways are the impellers all universal as in the ones made for seadoo fit all seadoo obiously pitch is a factor between skis ....and advise ??

its a 16.7/21.7 pitch.

You can go to impros, skat-trak and look for the "impellor" chart, to find the correct pitch you need, depending on motor mods.

thanks for the speedy reply.....how can u tell the pitch ....is the the variation of the "h" or what ??? the original impeller on mine is 14/21 so would the the h one not work or would it hurt performance ?

whats wrong with the one you got? SBT will re-furbish it for 25 buks, or you can contact Impros, but think they are 50 buks

it has its normal dings and nicks in it....the ski wasnt taken super good care of b4 i i got it...i know about boats a heck of alot more than seadoos...i know a nick or ding in a boat prop wont kill performance but didnt know if it would on a doo...just gotta figure out what is killin its umph

with the impellor nicked/dinged up, then i suspect the wear ring is trashed, as well. Its located where the impellor is, but it "sleeves" over it. Going to the extent of getting your impellor fixed/replaced, then might as well spend another 40 buks and install new ring. BTW, if your motor is not "modded", that impellor will kill it(h-series)....ski and umph.

sounds like a plan..wear ring will be checked and prolly replaced....if im not mistaken i think i remember seeing the ring when i was checkin things out...and it was jacked up...
