i have an 07 rxp. It definetly blew the battery fuse, so i replaced that. When you put the key on, the gauges come up and then fade right away. I dont really know where to go from here. Can anyone help?

It's normal for them to fade away......but the ? is how long do they stay on for you after pushing start/attaching the key?

Have you tried starting it?

it doesnt start. when you push on the key, the gauges come up (no beep), then its literally like 2 seconds and they fade away. it wont turn over or click or anything.

It is not uncommon for a poor connection issue to become present after hooking the battery up backwards. Remove, clean and re-connect the wires at the solenoid and the heavy ground wires.

There is a good chance you blew more than one fuse. Check them all.

ive been through all the fuses a couple times but i do not know what these couple items in this picture are. is number 1 a fuse? and what are the long black ones as pictured in number 2? 848IhJJ.jpg

I did the same thing a few days ago, I made the correct connection and it would not work, turned out the new battery was bad, no problem with the sea doo
