Bought a 2001 Challenger 2000 two days ago, getting ready to take it to the lake tomorrow, however I noticed smell of Gas when I opened the engine compartment, is this normal? Appreciate any advice from current owners. Thanks.

Normal. That's why you have a blower in the engine compartment.

Cleaning the bilge will help... And make sure you don't see any wet fuel lines after you run the engine (fuel leaks) but most of the time, these boats just stink a little.

Since you just bought it... I need to add...

Make sure you open the engine compartment... or run the bilge blower for 5 minutes before stating it the first time for the day. You don't want to have an explosion.
