Sludge on plugs

Just winterized my GTR215s and pulled plugs to fog cylinders. All 3 plugs on one ski were covered in this crap. Ski ran perfectly this morning when I took it out for last ride. Guessing it can’t be good though. I should note I upgraded to XCharger and Fizzle external intercooler on both skis this year. Any ideas?

Oil must be surrounding the plug hole, it wouldn't run if that was in the combustion chamber. Looks to have water in the oil?

it does appear to have water in the oil. Just changed oil while winterizing so hard to tell as oil is so clear. Motor ran great before winterizing. Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

Check your coolant level to see if you may have blown a head gasket, and the coolant leaked into your oil? They have test strips for this also, to test your oil for coolant.

Get a flashlight , and look down in the sparkplug tubes for excessive oil, they may be leaking. I'd wipe it dry down in there, and put the plugs back in, and see how long before it comes back. If you haven't had the plugs out in awhile , it may have took time for it to build up down in the tubes. I wouldn't be too concerned, it's the equivalent of a leaking valve cover on a car.

Yep, replace them. Also just keep an eye on the oil for water because of the color you showed, but it might just be the oil sitting in the tubes absorbing moisture in the hull after riding.

Thanks. I did find another thread on the forum where the spark plug tubes/pipes were the issue. I’ll replace all three in the spring with a valve cover gasket and keep a close eye on them. I can see how oil leaks into the tubes by the design but don’t see how it gets past the spark plugs as they are seated tightly, unless it all just flows down during removal.
I wonder if I didn’t reinstall something properly when I upgraded supercharger and intercooler. Intake had to come off to remove internal intercooler and it’s possible I didn’t reinstall something properly. Otherwise why would all three tube seals fail at same time? Appreciate the input.

Looks like an intercooler leak, take the hose off of the throttle body and see if there is water in the hose.
