Ski mode module

Ive searched, but can't find the detail I'm liking for on this so please forgive me if I'm just too incompetent to find it.

We have a two week old 2012 GTI 130SE and want to add the Ski module. I am of the very mechanically inclined breed and don't think I'd have a problem installing it.

Where is the best place to get one?
How much?
Where is the magical diagnostics port I'll need to plug in to?

Let's start off easy....... Can someone tell me where the diagnostics port is?

The disgnostic port is up front on top of the battery. It will come with very specific instructions that are easy to follow. Cant tell you where or how much, I added cruise control, I did a google search, found the best price and ordered it.
