Ski is stalling 2006 wake edition

just put ski into water after sitting for a few months and it stalls after just a few seconds of running. Could my problem simply be stale fuel. Any recommendations would be appreciated. 2006 wake edition.

You can normally smell the fuel and determine if it is stale. How much fuel is in the tank? Did you store it with fuel stabilizer and not?

And take a look at the plugs, some simply fail after being stored for a season.

If it is stalling after you try to accelerate, then the problem is the spark plugs failing. Stall fuel won't help anything either. Always put in fuel stabilizer during storage. But if you forgot, then put in SeaFoam and add fresh fuel.

Change the plugs, (and while your at the store get an extra set for later).
Add seafoam fresh fuel and see how that works. I bet you will be pleased.
