Ski Cover

When I purchased my ski, it came with the original cover. There is mildew stains and what not on the inside of the cover. Any recommendations to get it cleaned off? Power washer? Or do I say forget it and buy a new one? I am not opposed to putting some work into it. Just wanted to see what experience others have had with the same issue of cleaning the cover.

Take it to a laundromat with Oxyclean. Comes out great.

I agree the Laundromat is the way to go. You may have to re-waterproof it after though. I have had great results with 303 Fabric Guard.

as long as the seat isn't starting to separate/weaken, washing machine will do the trick, find one with no agitator (the big tube in the middle)

reason I say this is I've mangled two OEM covers (older ones) by washing them and the seams separated on me, apparently the threads were already pretty weak and the washing action finished them off.

perhaps first, try spraying some tilex bathroom cleaner (like we use with success on mold on seats) first then rinsing off with a hose.
