ive got a 2006 3ddi just put a new rebuild engine in hooked everything up and it started straight away i was well pleased only ran it for like 5 - 10 sounded nice and healthy turned it off so i could go and get the hose pipe so i could run it for longer and check for leaks but now i cant get it to start (never hooked hose up so i no its not a water leak ) so i started checking everything over taking pipes off and stuff all electric connections and fuses but i noticed there is fuel in my air compressor feed line and the line that goes to the rave solenoid and now it seems its not going it to the cylinders its got new battery on fully charged new plugs ive got good spark

after searching many forums reading my manual and many phone calls to dealers i found that its a faulty fuel regulator diaphragm that's letting the fuel into air compressor outlet lines so I've took out the regulator and it was pretty clogged up with debris from when the engine blew up so for now I'm going to try and clean it to see if i can get ski started if that fixes it I'll be ordering a new one hope this helps others who may have problems with di systems
