shifter cable 96 challenger

I put my boat in reverse really quick and the metal cable bent. I staightened it out the best I could but it will not slide through the sleeve now.

Is there a way I can fix this or is there a place I can buy another cable? How hard are these things to replace.

While I was messing with trying to straighten it out I also pulled the plastic thing that held the cable sleeve in place on the bottom of the control.
