Not sure if I’m in the right area here, but here goes! 2008 sea doo 230 wake. While on the water today, with the boat running and shifted to neutral, the lever “slips” falls back into reverse. To get to neutral, I had to hold in place. I know there’s no true neutral, but not sure why it won’t stay in place. Any thoughts or experiences with the issue? Thanks!

There’s a friction and ball adjustment
Remove the control assemble and look at item 9 for adjustment there is a ball adjustment for FWD Neutral and Reverse and a friction pad adjustment too

Looks like the ol ultraflex design, good to know that they are more plentiful that I thought. They are painted aluminum from the factory and tend to get pretty corroded over time.
