Service manual question

Hey guys! New to the forum, just picked myself up a 1997 Seadoo Challenger single 787. I bought it not running right and fixed it so now I am trying to make sure the carbs are set to factory settings then do some fine tuning. I found a free shop manual online but it is for the 1997 seadoo PWC not the boats, and different models have different low speed settings just wondering which model PWC settings I should follow? They vary from 1 turn out to 1 3/4 turns out..

I also heard that the 97 787s have the PTO carb high speed setting out 1/4 and the MAG carb zero. Is this true?

i think a 787 should be a 787 no matter what model it happens to be installed in.

I have the same boat. My current carb settings are HS in fully, LS out 1 1/4. Here are pics from the service manual. You can adjust HS 0-1/4 out and LS 1- 1 1/4 out... hope this helps.
