Selling Speedster help!

I am wanting to sell my 1998 speedster. I have one year left of school and need the money to pay off student debt. The boat runs great and has had the necessary work for it to be mechanically sound including new carbs, fuel gauges, fuel lines etc. It is very clean and has been taken care of. With summer coming to an end here in KY i need to get on the ball but what is a good asking price and what is the best way to go about selling it fast?

I would start by listing it here and on craigslist. Take lots of good pics and describe everything. It is the end of summer though, so it will probably sell lower than if you held it till spring. In this area, in good shape I would expect it to go for $5500-6500.

This time of year, I doubt it. I would try craigslist or ebay.

If you cant get it sold in the next few weeks... you will be better off holding onto it until next spring. From Labor day, until Easter... All you will get is people looking for deals.
