just bought a seadoo that the previous owner loss the valves in, once he fixed the valves and reinstalled the head the cam seized right away, he bought another head and same thing happened within 2 seconds, cam seized. before i install another head wondering if anyone might know why it siezes so quick.thanks

Is the cam rust pitted? Oil passages plugged feeding the cam oil? Did he use the correct timing tools to set timing?

Probably used the wrong year head or the wrong year rocker shaft. All years are not interchangeable. The oil passages are drilled differently on the 05 and older style heads that also have an oil jet in the block. If the wrong components are used, it will completely starve the camshaft of oil and seize instantly, sound familiar?
