I got a 2008 RXP-X that I want to do a coolant flush on I have the service manual and it wants me to use 50% antifreeze 50% demineralized water but I am having trouble finding demineralized water, from everything I’ve read demineralized water and distilled water are not the exact same thing so I’m cautious about using distilled water instead. Only other option is use OEM Sea doo coolant they sell by liter that is pre mixed and expensive. Any thoughts or advice on this ?

Deionized (de-mineralized) or DI water would be the best, but I've used distilled water in cars and boats for years with no problems. The last time I flushed my ski, I used Zero water.

Going back to my college chemistry days distilled water [emoji97] is pretty much pure H2O, you boil water and then condense the steam. You can drink distilled but not demineralized water. Distilled water is free of the minerals that SeaDoo doesn’t want in their cooling systems. One of the ways they make demineralized water is by distilling water. I think it’s a French Canadian misnomer.
