I have that wrench and never use it. Just pull the carbs. All you have to do is back out the 4 bolts(5 if you count the short one on the side of the pipe) and slide them up then drop the carbs down in the hull leaving all cables and hoses attached.

You need either the special wrench or one that will work. I've seen posts where guys were able to use some stubby craftsman or snap on wrenches or bend one to work.

sounds good guys, i would of text one of the 3 of you guys but last night as i was welding a bracket shit hit the fan and some how i tripped and broke my phone so i dont get my replacement till thursday. i hope i back your guys numbers up lol

Yeah I've gotten quick at yanking those carbs. I put the long end of a short 6mm Allen wrench in the bolt and a small box wrench on the short end to crack it loose. Then I can spin the bolts by hand. Slide them up without letting them fall out(keep filter seal O-rings on) and the come off and lay in the bottom of the hull peacefully. Just make sure the carb gaskets are there when you go back on with them.

well you guys where right, took the carbs off and it was easy to get to, thanks for all the help!
