Seadoo Speedster Pump Stud problem....

Hello Everyone,

Ok so I'm in the middle of rebuilding the pumps on my speedster and I'm finishing up on the port side pump and the stud the goes into the ride shoe pulls right out. Anyone ever have this happen. I was going to get some plastic seal and put it back it let it set up and go from there. I was just wondering if this is common or anyone else has gone though this.

i think, those studs run right thru the hull, and nutted up in the inside.

No they don't run though... At least not on my model. It is threaded into the fiberglass ride shoe. I'm really starting to get bummed on how i'm gona fix this!

yeah, ur right. Forgot about the "grey" transom design they made, in that year...

You said that some model's have a bolt that goes right through. Maybe I can just drill the wrest of the way though and put a new stud/bolt in it. I have to take a look at it. Before I go to that extreme I want to try plastic weld and put the bolt in that. I guess this is some to the challenges of owning a older boat..
