Hi I’m wondering if I could get some help I have reconditioned the carburettors and the port side engine is not Reving to its max, would you know possibly what would cause this

Maybe a fuel issue. Or carb issue. Did you use a Genuine kit ? Did change the needle and seat , jet ? If carb is OK check fuel filters.
Ps. I'm no expert. Have twin 720s is my thing. Lol

I've got a 96 Speedster and was having an issue with my left motor. After a lot of investigation it ended up that the exhaust and the noise baffle were not bolted together tight enough. Once I reconnected and tightened it up it ran no problems. It seems that the back pressure is key to these things running properly. Best of luck....
