Seadoo SP 567 Has to be primed [Solved]

Was hoping I didn't have to come back to the forums but I do have a problem that might just be fixed easier than me messing around to figure out what it is. So just in case you followed my earlier thread I did have a 657x engine but now I have a 567 because I swapped them due to problems.

So I have gotten this thing running well besides 2 things. Every time I want to start it I HAVE to prime it. Doesn't matter if it is warmed up or not. The second thing is if I keep it at a lower rpm for 5-10 secs it will bog down and die due to lack of fuel from what I'm understanding. It looks to me like the carburetor is not pulling in enough fuel at low rpm which kinda confuses me(I have a little fuel filter that lets me see the fuel get sucked through the line). I did rebuild the carburetor and actually the carburetor was really good but I decided to replace everything anyway since I had the parts. runs fine at higher rpms and can run like that fine for as long as I want.

I had the same issue starting my gsx. I installed a plunger primer kit replacing the choke. With the fuel supply tee’d off the fuel return line. Couple pumps of the primer and it fires every time. Some will say thats a bad idea to loose the choke but I found it to be fine. You should be able to solve stalling issues at low rpm by adjusting carb

Turns out I just rushed rebuilding the carburetor the first time and didn't realize whoever had been in there before left 2 screws out. Starts right up now without priming and fixed the low rpm stalling. I do have the primer and choke things, I think I'll switch it back to being for the choke.

I would also get rid of the aftermarket inline fuel filter. They aren’t necessary and can starve the engine at high rpm.
