Seadoo rxp 1500cc supercharged

Hi all,
I have just brought a 2004 seadoo rxp 1500cc supercharged jet ski and was wondering what everyones thoughts are on them? Are they a good/reliable ski? It has 72 hours on it and has just been serviced and had the supercharger washers renewed? Oh and this is the first one i have owned and havent been on a jet ski before.. Thanks Gordon

I have 2 04 gtx sc which is basically the same ski with a few different gears and intercooler stuff. I love mine. They are both nearing 200 hrs and we ride them all the time. Just make sure to wash it after every use. I even take the hose to under the seat and soak everything and clean it. I had a temp sensor go bad this year but otherwise they are great. it has the 1494 cc motor and they are great as long at you make sure you have the charger serviced about every 100 hr or 2 yrs. Maybe not every two years but thats what they recommend.

Oh and find out is they put metal clutch washers or is they put new ceramic in. if its ceramic you need to make sure to follow the 2 year guideline. For the next build get the riva metal washers. If you dont know the time frame for the charger you should just do it and do it with metal not ceramic. Less room for failure causing engine destruction.
