Hello, i just got this seadoo gtx 95 and the connections with the speed sensor, speedometer, fuel, oil gauges been cut, i got the wiring diagram from the manual but doesn't match the colors the i have on the jet ski, maybe somebody can send me a picture of the connectors so i can understand how they been set so i can get better description of the problem

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The cable coming from the Electric Module is 6 wires Purple, Black, Pink, Pink-Black, Blue, Blue-Black, then the cut cable coming from the oil/fuel gauge is Red-Purple, Tan-Blue, Pink, Pink-Black, Blue, Blue-Black, the colors coming from the Module don't match the cut ones, seen the im missing Purple and Black, then other ones been cut too coming from the speedometer are Blue-Purple, Black, Purple-Yellow,Purple, the Purple one doesn't show in the wiring diagram on the manual neither coming from the speed sensor, thats pretty much my problem, is driving nuts and i don't want to burn or blow the module, any help to fix it and save my day really appreciated.

Other that the guage wires, Is it running? I have a 95 GTX, but too many XXX
I WILL check tomorrow, HTH. Is it JUST the loom going Forward thats cut?

yes, the jet ski runs fine but i have no idea when it is running low on gas. I used it for few minutes but i dont wanna be stuck in the middle of nowhere. What appears to me is the last owner try to do something with the hood and just decide to cut the connectors so now i have the cables with the rubber seal and the metal pin hanging there. I have been searching in internet but the only thing i got was the wiring diagram from the manual but doesnt help me to much. I really appreciate if you can point me in the right direction.

well to put the connectors is not the bad part, my worries is the colors of the cables they dont match with the ones coming from the module, where they suppose to be a red-purple i got black and tan-blue i got purple.

The 1995 Seadoo shop manual has the GTX 5863 wireing diagram on the last page,
171 of 172 pages. You never stated where it is cut. You mentioned "module" so are
you in the grey box, or up in the lid? If you come up to Leading edge PWC in pinellas park, you'll be glad you did. 727-547-9300. Bills86e

Thanks again for your time, i really appreciate, finally i found whats the problem, my wiring doesnt match because from my grey box the wiring is from a seadoo gts, gts seadoos only have wiring for the fuel/oil gauges no speed, which is only 6 cables, i check the wiring diagram from the gts and i find out where is the other extra 2 cables for the speed. I guess the last owner fix the wiring or something because my hood and the jet ski are gtx, im gonna try to see if i can run some wires to get the speedometer running, again thank you very much for the help, i let you know what hapens.

On top of your Magnito houseing is a tag that will state the motor. A '95 GTX had a
657X dual carbed engine. Its mpen was specific for those acccessories. What is the
number on the big black module ( it unclips) in your grey box?
