Which is the best way to get the drive shaft loose? Is stuck and when i use a wrench moves but little bits and i can see some liquid rust coming out from the seals, can i put some wd 40 through the spark plugs holes or other kind of lubricant? Thanks.

Another quick question how i remove the jet pump to verify if is not seized? New area on my jet ski no idea how do it, Thanks again.

puting anything in the sparkplug holes, wont help dislodge the driveshaft.

Did you remove the metal c-clip or o-ring, thats under the steel collar? If so, remove the zert fitting, and shoot brake fluid or trans fluid in there, and let sit for awhile.

This is why, you must hit that zert fitting, atleast, every other outing.

Pretty sure that one has the old style bearing carrier.

The pump you take the four big nuts off, and the three hoses inside the hull. Then wiggle till it breaks loose.

I have an AWESOME pry bar small enough to fit in there and get the RTV loose.

Probably right..forgot about that design...stupid seadoo.

LOL I just tried to put a 95 580 pipe on a 92 580 motor...had no idea until today the switched the pipe mounting bolt location on the manifold on the 580s!

The bearing carrier was the better design as long as it was greased.
