Seadoo completely dead

Hi have put a new battery on , and checked starter motor , but still no life when fob put on , not even a beep , could it be the solenoid.
Any help appreciated

Could either be the solenoid or kill switch (or dess post depending on which year ski it is) have you tested either one?

Jump the solenoid with a screwdriver. Post to post. If it turns over then check your fuses. What year and model is it ?

All I know it's a GTX 800 year 95 97 going to check and jump solenoid today see what happens

Pull the plugs and the pto cover and make sure it turns over by hand. Does it look like the green Gtx in my avatar ?

If it looks like the one in my avatar it has 2 fuses in the gray ebox in the front of the hull. It also has a fuse in the Black ebox by the solenoid. It also has a small second ground wire coming from the rear ebox to the battery . Make sure it’s hooked up.

Don’t forget that small second ground wire to the battery . It won’t have power without it.

clean the dess post and metal tabs on the dess key

Have just jumped the solenoid and it kicked to,life so I take it that's the problem

Yes, I would replace the solenoid and its only about $24.

Did you check your fuses? Are your gauges lighting up?By Jumping the solenoid you are only supplying power to the starter from the battery. Doesn’t mean your mpem is working.

I have not checke fuses yet , I have no petrol gauge

Yes check your fuses. Make sure your getting power to your mpem (computer)

Funny you should say that my petrol gauge has stopped working would that be a fuse you think

If you have a blown fuse nothing will work. 2 in front ebox. One in rear ebox, Have you gotten it to turn over by using the key and start button yet ?
