I bought my Challenger in 05 and the previous owner had a Stator put in before I picked it up. The boat ran great, but seemed to drain the battery pretty quickly. I am on my third battery in 3 summers. Then last weekend, the engine turned over, but wouldn't fire. I pulled it out of the lake and took it to the shop and they said it is a faulty stator. Is this a common problem with these boats?
