The Sea-Doo RXP-X 300, RXT-X 300 and GTX 300 has a new warranty bulletin circulating. Under this bulletin it is explained that some units were produced with parts that may affect the engine’s long term performance.
You will need to replace the cylinder head bolt, then connect to a BUDS system to ensure the ECM is up to date.
If the “active fault U0300 Exchange Security – Wrong ECM” is shown then go to the summary/health section and launch the “Handle Security Coding Mismatch” function by double clicking on it or by pressing the green play button. Then click yes to resolve the mismatch.
When complete remove the D.E.S.S. key to activate it. Scan the vehicle again an a new incurred fault will occur. Go to the Faults page and clear that fault code.
We have attached the complete service bulletin here.
