Yes, he probably did and thats why he is saying to check compression again.
Two strokes are finicky and any little thing fuel or air level not right and it will lose compression.

To confirm motor is healthy we need compression readings to not be chasing our tales.

It not wanting to run but it starts sound like a fuel problem.

Hm, it have some metal sound when I rev up abit and it stops..

Stop trying to start it then.

You have the 787 which have raves.
Start by taking them out and see if your missing chucks.

You could take off head and inspect it but a compression test will tell you more or less.

Inspect your pump.

Crank bearing / RV gear went bad?

More info on what has been done to engine.
Was it running good before?
Did you just get it?
Has it been rebuilt?

Went back and re read you original post and you have two things that stand out.

How long after it sank was it cleared of water?
Your MPEM could be the reason and your wasting your time on everything else.
Try to find another cheap mpem or cheap ski with good electronics.

Hello guys,
Im from sweden so my english isnt the best but I hope you understand me :)
Watercrafts isnt common here.

I've a Sea-Doo XP 1997 (787cc) with some problem, only runs on 1 cylinder when in water.
Started it on land and its fire ups on both but only 1 when Im in water, it's kinda hard for me to understand whats my problem.

I've changed ignition recoil but nothing else.

I may also say it was waterfilled and under water last year, since then it havent worked for me.

May it be MPEM? All help would be nice.

Sorry again for my english :)

/Swedish dude

I have ownd it for 2 years, always been running great until it sank. Then I rebuild carbs and replaces fuel lines like I have written before. So now it have been runned great 2 days but now some strange noise when i rev it up and then it dies. Not really sounds like its from engine. I'll check rave and pump tomorrow.

I've found my problem with metal sound now. It was the bearing to pump/impeller. Rebuild kit and it will probably runs smooth again :)
