I've managed to find a uk source of this starter and I know you guys over the pond use SBT alot so was wondering what you guys think to this starter? Is it more robust/stronger than the OEM? worth the money? Reliable?

Thanks guys!

The OEM Denso starter is going to be the best one out there in my opinion. I have heard mixed reviews of SBT starters, some say they work fine, some say they snap on them.

When i bought my GTX is had an Aqua Torque starter on it. It served its purpose for some time but i havent found an aftermarket starter yet that compares to the OEM.

Cheapest ive found oem is £250-300 thats $375-$450 roughly cheapest aftermarket ive found is £100/$150 both new parts but oem has a lead time ive just had a quick google and found a guy go through 2, one every 6 weeks stripping the bendix, dont suppose anyone knows a denso part number and not the seadoo part number do they?

Good lord $375+ for a starter!!? If you still have your OEM one I would just rebuild it. The rebuild kits are less than $50 here in the states.

Why not buy a 2nd hand original starter from a UK breaker then strip it , clean it and replace brushes if nessacary .

Cant find one at the right price mate atleast with an aftermarket one i have some form of warranty, its £60/$90 for brushes and bendix to rebuild one
