Well it's a sad day :(, I just winterized our sea doos for the year. Guess I will see all of you next spring!

I have 2 more days of boating, calling for a high of 22 on sunday and monday. I had a good season though got in 60days of good boating.

Great year!.....

I had a great year too!......but, being in the south, I"m still having it. We're not swimming anymore or pulling the tube, but just today, I went out fishing for the morning. The weather was just perfect and the boat has run like a champ all year.

I'm still having that same problem with the MAG carb that it seems a few other members have had. The sticking of the throttle plate.

I'm ready to put it on the trailer and start with some annual inspections and maintenance............I think this year, I'm going to film the removal of my pump, shaft, impeller, bearings and if needed, the wearing ring. I might be able to find a way to get it out to other members who may need the little extra help and direction.............

I was hoping to get another day or two in but the water is way to cold for a doo...even with a wetsuit. I am taking mine to get winterized sometime next week.....I think I am going to cry!!! :(

Like everyone above me, I had a great riding season. It was my first with a seadoo, but I have been boating all my life. My boats probably feel a little neglected cause I only took them out a few weekends at the cottage....I didn't even get my bayliner in the water!!!!

I put 80 hours on the doo....I have heard thats a lot for our short riding season up here (especially short this year due to crappy weather) hopefully next years is a little longer!!

I am thinking now about getting a skidoo....if they are as much fun as a seadoo I am sure it will be a worthwhile purchase!! I wonder if there is a skidooforum.com and if its as good as this forum.

Going to google it now!!

The weather is perfect yes, the water is already quite cold, even for a wetsuit. The cool nights have brought temps down and although I'd like to extend our first (short) season on the Seadoo, it seems looking forward to next year is all we can do right now.
Ironically, last year on Cdn. Thanksgiving it hit nearly 30 degrees as well. A week later, it was frigid.

I was just at the cottage and its 26, yesterday boat was taking on water found the and found the bailer plug line came off so today i fixed it putt it in the water and found out there was another leak. The rub rail came lose and water was coming in so im done for the year... boat getting winterized on tuesday.... Grand bend is 30 right now so i think its a beach day today...
