RXTX carbon seal wear..HELP

2009 RXTX with 310 hours. Had a steady leak at the carbon seal. can anyone tell from the pictures what would cause uneven wear on the surface and also cause uneven wear in the thickness ? First picture the thickness at the top is greater than the bottom and in the second picture it looks like an alignment issue? thanks.

Ris the pump securred squarly at the hull,,,rare outside chance,,,is the shaft bent?,,.go underneath with a strong flashlight,,,have someone start it up...you will see it wobbling,,,or pull the shaft and roll it on a flat glass surface,,,otherwise The motor is out of alignment.

With 310hrs on that carbon ring (new ski with 20hrs bad Carbon Rings Sanks) i think 1 or 2 engine mount went bad then cause the motor to go out of alignment or running it too long out of water will introduce high heat on carbon ring and bellow.

If the engine is out of alignment that could cause that uneven wear,,,when a carbon ring is over heated,,,usually the bellows melts at the carbon ring,,,

Have you found out anything or have you check for the engine alignment yet.

I'm still trying to cut the rest of the very rusty driveshaft out. Before I cut it I used my finger to see how centered the driveshaft was through the hull. Side to side seemed even but it was definitively lower vertically (i could stick my whole finger in the top but not under the driveshaft). The driveshaft riding lower would wear on the bottom of the carbon seal and also affect the angle. I assume this is going to be my issue. I can't seem to find a driveshaft alignment tool anywhere.

The old one was too rusted
