RXT Start Stop Problem???

I have a 2005 RXT and everytime I start it I have to push the start/stop button 5 to 20+ times to get it to start. Every time the button is pushed it clicks. The clicking sound comes from the engine compartment in the area of the front left side by the fuse box. Is this a starter poblem??? Has anyone had this problem and if so where is the best palce to get the part so that I can repair.

starter solenoid/relay

It sounds like it's your starter solenoid. It's on the left side of the engine. Black with 2 red rubber boots/caps, with 2 cooper post behind the caps.

look at the last pic on the page.

To test it, take a screw driver and touch both post at the same time. (to connect the circuit Just don't be touching the metal part of the screw driver when you do it, and don't do it long. Just a quick touch should make it want to start.
