Nice but!

These new skis are nice, but my XP, which has been highly modded, will make that speed and then some. I've clocked over 70 mph on my 787cc.
I've got what's called a "hammer" mod kit. Total invested is about $2594.00.
I did a carb throat boring and re-jetting with an added primer kit. Competition porting, the Mikuni high volume fuel pump, micro touch CDI module. I've got the new Solas "XO" pitch prop and the "highly expensive" exhaust Spec 1 series exhaust system.
I had to also change my fuel requirements. I burn 91 octane and better for my high performance engine. I realized all the pinging was caused by low octane. Oil requirements remained the same.

Anyone out there experienced with engine rebuild can find the seadoo mod parts at a great price at www.groupk.com/sd785rec.htm. They have all you need to get that little extra horse power to beat all your competition...........go get um!

Hmmmm, I have a 787 in my 1997 Challenager jet boat...It sit's on it's trailer cause I have a Brand new 200 speedster that isn't quite broken in yet...I might look into moding the challenager for giggles...I used to race standup Kawasaki's about 18 yrs ago...

.........righteous!

Wow dude, I didn't know they had stand-ups that long ago! I raced in the late 90's, but spent so much time working on it, I got out of it. Took up to much riding time.
Now, we have races on the river........put a couple bucks down, winner take all. We do process elemination. First, we start by class. You know, the Honda's and Yamahammer's etc....then we take the best out of those classes and race the different makers together. 9 out of 10 times, the Sea-Doo wins. There's this chick who rides the new RXT who kicks butt out here!...Although she's been evenly matched several times, I think she wins because of her low weight. And she knows how to handle it!....."you go girl!"

My first Jet Ski was an original 440 when Kawasaki had the patent on them. The first one I bought new was in 1978. That's when racers weren't lazy and had to sit on their butts and race...lol You needed to be in top physical shape to b competitive. I used to race 125, 250 and open class motocross too. I raced all 3 classes in the same race day ...like 2-3 heats for each class.( practice, qualify, and race) I have owned every stand up jet ski Kawasaki ever made till about 10 years ago.
