rxp running out of water.. How long?

I hear 5 minutes on the hose is pushing it.

I have an oil leak that is borderline impossible to find.

Was wondering if I took some things apart if I could run the ski longer than 5 minutes.

Like separating bellows and carbon ring.. Spraying water on heat sync on pump... How long can I get?

Hose attached around 2 minutes is safe. Anything more and you're asking for trouble.

yeah, 2-3 minutes is all you should run it on the hose. if you take the c-clip out and slide the collar forward so it doesn't touch the carbon ring, you can go longer, maybe 8 mins, but if you run your hose between the ride plate and your pump(in addition to your exhaust) you can run it as long as you want. The ride plate is a heat exchanger that cools your engine like the radiator in your car.

a common oil leak is the rear seal at the driveshaft, replaced a few of these recently on older 4tecs.
