Hi to all . New here and to seadoos , but not pwc . I'm winterizing an rxp for a friend and want more specifics on the hose locations for the drain and anti-freeze refill for the intercooler .

Thanks

What year?

You didn't state what year you are working on. Most of the drain plugs for the cooling system in the 4tecs are located at the rear of the ride plate. Open the cap then unscrew the drain plug. Always refill with the same brand of antifreeze with a 50 50 mix of antifreeze and demineralized water.

Intercooler?......

You stated the intercooler. This is part of the open loop cooling system. In the intercooled suprecharged motors, this is the only real component part that needs protecting. You don't need to drain your ride plate, this is part of the engines cooling system. It should already be protected from freezing, unless you need to change the coolant.

You can pull up an exploded view of this system using our parts index at the top right hand side of this screen. Put in all your info then choose the cooling system or the intercooler.

Look at the water lines on the open loop in the diagraphm and it is pretty easy to determine which lines to pinch.
