runs like crap

i have a 2006 seadoo sporster. im new the the jet boat, so forgive me.. i have had it for 3 months now has ran great for me, but i got busy at work and have not ran it for about 5-6 weeks. so i took it out labor day filled it up 60.00 which usually last two days(tubing..etc..) well when i put it in it spit and spuddered act like it was going to shut off so i hit full throttle and it slowly took off. after running it for 20 minutes i got some of my power back, but not much. so i have hardly no power anymore and i went through a tank and a half in 6 hours. so my question is why and what do i do to fix it

start by changing the plugs.

do i have to have special plugs or are they just regular plugs.. so i have no idea about anything about my boat(maintence, care, engine) is there anything i can do or find to learn about my boat..

pump check

It sounds like you picked up debris in the pump. some times something will get trapped between the impellor and the vanes, check it visually, out of the water looking thru the intake grate. AL
