Rollover then would not turn over for a few minutes

First go on the 94 XP with a new battery, it started easy and ran strong until I finally tipped clockwise. I tipped it a few more times learning to reboard. Once it rotated counter clockwise fully.

When I went to start it, it went clunk and nothing. After a few minutes it eventually turned over. It took several attempts after that and partial throttle to finally get it started.

Any idea what happened?

Sounds like you got water in the engine.

Much better to pull the plugs than bend a rod or something.

If you got it running finally it should be good to go but I would still fog the heck out of it.
